Obituary
Don Stark
Hancock,
66, Russellville, Alabama,
passed away Tuesday, January 15,
2008 at Eliza Coffee Memorial
Hospital in Florence, Alabama.
Mr. Hancock
was a native of the Mississippi
Gulf Coast, but had lived in
Russellville for the past 35
years. He was a member of First
United Methodist Church,
Russellville and retired from
Lee Apparel where he was Human
Resources Manager for 24 years.
He was board member and past
president of the Civitan Club,
volunteer for Meals on Wheels,
on the YMCA Board of Directors:
Russellville and Florence and
served on several First United
Methodist Church Committees.
The funeral
services are scheduled for
Friday, January 18, 2008, 11:00
a.m. at the First United
Methodist Church, Russellville
with the body to be placed in
the church one hour before the
service from 10:00 a.m. until
11:00 a.m.
Officiating
will be Clinton Busler and Alan
Beasley. There will be a funeral
service on Saturday, January 19,
2008, 11:00 a.m. at the First
United Methodist Church in Long
Beach, Mississippi. The body
will be placed in the church one
hour prior to the service.
Officiating will be Ben Barlow.
Burial will follow in Long Beach
City Cemetery.
He is survived
by wife, Vicki Hancock,
Russellville, Alabama; children,
Audrey Hancock Mashburn &
husband, Jerry, Florence,
Alabama, Mildred "Millie"
Hancock Nohren & husband, Jeff,
Tampa, Florida, Jessica Ann
Hancock, Tuscaloosa, Alabama;
sisters, Mildred M. Johnson,
Long Beach, Mississippi, Betty
Lou Holder, Long Beach,
Mississippi; brothers, Joe M.
Hancock, Biloxi, Mississippi,
James A. Hancock, Sr., Long
Beach, Mississippi, Phillip P.
Hancock, Sr., Long Beach,
Mississippi; grandsons, Daniel
Nohren, Samuel Mashburn, Andrew
Mashburn, Steven Nohren, Elijah
Mashburn, John Nohren; numerous
nieces, nephews, great-nieces,

nephews. Longtime best friend,
Harry Huston.

He was

Curtis Dewey Hancock
