Grandchildren: Fawn Elizabeth(14), Harold IV(12),
Branson(6), Dustin(4), Addison(5), Alaya Nicole (2)
Memorable Incidents: Football games, proms, various

typing, Mr. Skinner's Chemistry, Mr. Hilton's English, Mrs.
Hunt's PE, and Mrs. Fletcher's Library. Can't forget Mr.

Since High
School: I was married in 1961. My husband, Harold, joined
the Army. We were assigned to bases in Fort Bragg, NC,
Monterey, CA, and Fort Benning, GA. During this time, Harold
and I had three children. Following a tour in Vietnam in 1967,
Harold went into business with his father, and we lived on the
Coast. During that time, I worked and went to college at Jeff
Davis Jr. College, and our children attended and graduated
from Long Beach schools. In 1988, we moved to Jackson, MS, and
I began working for the Dept. of Family Medicine at the
University of Mississippi Medical Center, where I am today.
Future Plans: Retiring, maybe some college courses, and
traveling to visit my children who are in NC, TX, and MS.
Memorable Teachers: I remember each and everyone of our
faculty for their contributions and dedication to our
education, and some who stood out for their personalities as
well. Mrs. Fletcher (Library) because she was such a
character. Mr. Skinner (Science), who was so serious (and a
bit intimidating). Mr. Hilton, (English) who received the
Class of 1961 Annual Dedication Award. Mrs. Guild, who was
so-o-o "into" language.
