Obituary

Henry "Butch" Hammons

Mr. Henry "Butch" Hammons, age 63 of Long Beach, after an extended illness, passed away Saturday October 7, 2006 at his residence.

Mr. Hammons loved his work and his employees. He loved visiting with his children and grandchildren. He also loved playing golf and coaching community sports.

He is survived by his parents, Henry and Jaunita Hammons of Long Beach; his wife, Jan Hammons of Long Beach; his daughter, Angie Carter of Cumming, GA; two sons: Rusty Hammons and Tim Hammons both of Orlando, FL; two brothers: Donnie Hammons and Ronnie Hammons Sr. both of Long Beach; his sister, Lynn Hammons of Biloxi; his stepson Scott MacMann of Long Beach; his stepdaughter Tiffany Flannagan of Chicago; three grandchildren: Rylee Hammons, Marisa Carter, Luke Hammons; and seven step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Highway 49 North, Gulfport.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
