Debate team trips to New Orleans. Since High School: Graduated College and Law School
(Southern & Ole Miss). Practiced Law for a year in
Gulfport before being called to active duty as an Army JAG
Officer. Served overseas and taught at USMA (West Point).
Worked in the Pentagon as a Senior Assistant General
Counsel working international cooperative agreements (lots
of foreign travel). Chief Counsel with the U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers in Mobile. Retired January 2001. Future Plans: Enjoy retirement: Travel, sail my
boat, play with my grandkids and keep in touch with old
friends. Memorable Teachers: Word Guild. She changed my life
and I (along with Fred Holcomb) taught her how to dance to
Rock and Roll.
