Grandchildren: Zachary - age 7, Courtney - age 7, and Brittany - age 16 mos.
Since High School: I did not graduate from LBHS. I married David
in 1962, moved to Gulfport and started our family. Due to David's
employment with MHP we have lived in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, Long
Beach, and Perkinston. In 1978 I went to work for MS Gulf Coast
Community College in the Central Business Office when I decided to
further my education while working at Perk and graduated with honors in
1990. I am currently an Administrative Secretary to the Vice President
for Academic and Student Affairs. I have had the chance of a lifetime to
travel all over the world. I have been to South America, The Holy Land,
Egypt, Greece, Norway, Sweden, England, Ireland, China, Mexico, and the
awesome state of Alaska. My plate is full and Life is good.
Future Plans: I am retired June 30, 2003 and hope to continue
traveling. We definitely want to go back to Alaska.
Memorable Teachers: Mrs. Fletcher - Just a fun person to be
around. Royce Ladner - tried his best to fail 11 of us in his English
class and it didn't fly. Betty (Peavy) Malone - we were her first class
to teach and Dalton Bass really gave her a hard time. She work and
retired from MGCCC. I still see her as she has made her home here in
Perkinston. Mr. Miller - our history teacher, he was just a mess.
