Memorable Incidents: Trying to use the equipment in the shop before all of the
equipment had power hooked up. We would inserted a piece of wood in the spokes of the flywheel to turn the blade on the band saw. Cutting down a Pecan tree in the middle of the night in someone's pecan
orchard ,splitting it to fire wood size and then stacking it at Mr., Miller's
home!
Since High School: I stayed in Long Beach after school and before I got married (June 29, 1974) I did about any thing I wanted. I have owned
all types of boats and one 42 ft which I used as a charter boat. I earned my private
pilot license and purchase a four passenger airplane. I have shot Skeet on the National level and have competed in Archery on the National level. I worked in then Hardware Industry for 27 years with 11 of them covering South Mississippi as a
Territory Manager for one of the largest Wholesale Hardware & Building Supply Company in the US. Worked in the car business for 4 years and 9 years as a Planner/Scheduler for DuPont at the DeLisle, Mississippi plant. For the last three years I have been working for myself out of my home here in Long Beach.
Future Plans: Buy a Motor Home, travel and see as much of the US as I can. Hunt and fish as much as time
will allow. All of my hunting is done with bow & arrow.
Memorable Teachers: Mr. Ladner, without his help I would not have
graduated with the class.
