Name: Mary Ann Kistler
Birthday:
February 15
Occupation: Retired office worker
Spouse: Edward
Spouse's Occupation: District Head for major appliances in LA for General Electric Co.
Children: Rochelle Stewart - 34: Desirea Gutierrez - 35
Grandchildren: Peyton Oliver Gutierrez - 5; Brennan Daniel Gutierrez - 7
Memorable Incidents: Meeting the gang at Park-N-Eat; Weekly Sock-Hops; Being Captain of Bear Kittens - Dancing at football games. Decorating for Homecoming, Prom, and the dances themselves. Cursing around in Linda Helveston's Cadillac Convertible. Ghost hunting in cemeteries, cruising down the beach, pep-rallies, asking Mr. Miller not to give test on Friday so we could watch Dr. Kildare on Thursday night TV. Senior trip was a blast!
Since High School: Met and married a wonderful guy, we just celebrated our 28th Anniversary. We have done extensive travel in & out of the USA. Proud to be able to see my daughters & son-in laws all graduate from college and obtain good jobs. Fortunate to be able to retire from my office job early and enjoy life.
Future Plans: Looking forward to my husband's retirement, traveling to Europe and Australia. Retiring in Virginia or North Carolina. Enjoy my family, keeping in contact with my friends and in general having fun.
Memorable Teachers: Mrs. Lloyd, she treated us not as her students, but as her children. She always had faith in us that we would accomplish good things and really made us feel like our '63 class was THE CHOSEN ONE. Mr. Ladner, he tried to communicates with us and still be cool, but I know we drove him crazy.
Comments/Notes/News: I hope this is not our last reunion, it's so wonderful to be with the class again. Lets really make an effort to make this a good reunion and the ones to come.
