Memorable Incidents: I enjoyed being a bearkitty! I enjoyed being in gym and being involved in all the sports activities. I wish I had enjoyed the academics more! HA!
Since High School: I got married on July 6th, 1963 and traveled with my husband around the world as he advanced in his Air Force career. We were stationed many places to include South Carolina, Washington D.C, The Philippines, Colorado, Germany, and back to Washington D.C. where we have remained for the last twenty years. During our stays overseas, we had the opportunity to visit many amazing places such as Hong Kong, Thailand, England, The Azores, Holland and several other fascinating destinations. During our travels I also discovered my love for running. I completed three marathons- two in France and one in Greece. In the last two years I also completed the Marine Corps Marathon and the JFK Fifty Miler! I also had two beautiful children overseas that kept me busy then and still keep me busy today!
Future Plans: My husband and I plan to retire for good in the next year or so and move to beautiful Hot Springs, Virginia where my daughter currently lives. I plan to stay busy with my soon to be born grandson and also plan to continue running in those mountains!
Memorable Teachers: Mrs. Fletcher- the Librarian- she instilled in me a love for books and reading! Mrs. McIntosh- PE- Just loved sports and still do! I really liked Mr. Seal (Science) and was brokenhearted when he failed me!
